immediately i opened up my psp and fix that faulty wifi switch.
first time opening up my psp. i ended up dismantling more than i should, including removing the lcd etc. actually i just need to flick the switch at the bottom left.
i learnt that my psp's LCD is by sharp.
later after assembling everything back, i update my psp version to 3.90
I installed the internet radio and now i am able to listen to my favourite shoutcast stations - technobase and 977fm. :)
