city venture

last sat i joined my first event organised by the student council.
I thought it was just an overnight event. 4pm - 6am the next day. didn't bring my toiletries at all. Turns out to be sat 4pm - sunday 6pm. 2 FULL DAYS!

After my failed attempt to form a starhub team, i joined white lim's team instead.

there were 4 themes and all 4 required u to travel around singapore to complete 4-6 stations. Quite tiring and it was too much to do for it to be fun.

Singtel sim card in an iphone.

Spent my whole friday at yip's house unlocking iphones. Turns out to be not so easy afterall. Even had to take the last bus home, and continue unlocking at home. siao lor.
BTW, there is a famine at yip's house. Nothing to eat at all!

After installing PES 2008 on my desktop on saturday morning, I realised that my pc couldn't even support the medium graphic settings. sucks man. I started to look for a powerful AGP graphic card online. Then I came across this great deal - X1650XT going for $119.


Immediately I packed my bag and headed to sim lim sq. After reaching the bus stop yip called and told me to deal with this guy, so I went back home to take the phone. After that it was really quite hectic.

Bought graphics card from sls bell fatty
Bought yip's ps2 controller from seow choon
Bought audio cable from sim lim tower
Walked to dhoby ghaut and dealed with the guy
Took train to punggol to help mac and jb with the unlocking
Pump at hougang gym
Watch soccer at yip's place
Deal with another guy at dhoby ghaut

By the time I reached home it was already 12. Finally I get to test my graphic card.
Watched the blackburn vs liverpool match also.

Yes my motherboard doesn't have a PCI-E slot and I am proud of it. My desktop is the overclocking legend XP1700+ on abit nf7-s. Come to think of it, I'm quite pleased that it lasted me so long. through JC and army. I know the processor would be the bottleneck but I don't want to change everything.

Spent the whole afternoon today tweaking the thing.
Install the catalyst 7.7 drivers, disabled anti aliasing and stuffs.
initially i was quite disappointed until I decided to push my computer to the maximum again, overclocking my 333mhz ram to 400mhz again, and push my processor to 2250mhz. Finally I got the game running smoothly on 1280X720 medium settings.


a bit of winning 11 is ok la, since i quitted the sinful game.

Mocca is a damn good place to sell stuff. Just for fun, I posted the ad there and so many ppl replied!

Lastly, due to all these rubbish, I haven't touch my macro at all, and I have a test this wed night.
