Yeah today is the first time I hit the call stats of 100. so lucky today, almost all easy calls.
On the malaysia trip, i just cant register in my brain that it is tomorrow. I'm sorry to say that deep down I am not really looking foward to it. At the moment, I am seeing it as a weekend burned rather than an relaxing weekend.
As usual I haven't done any preparation. wanted to pack my bag just now but I couldn't say no to white lim and the rest who asked me to dota. Turns out to be a lousy game and I wasted 1 hr of my sleep time.

I love my job

Today I received my 2nd compliment from a customer. Quite happy even though I am embarassed by my low call stats of 72 calls only (lowest today in the team). I cannot believe that the whole day I only receive 1 call asking for mms/gprs setting which is suppose to be the easiest call. HAving say that, I should stop blaming my luck and try to be faster tomorrow.

Yes finally got my pay for the stupid factory job and the warehouse job yesterday. total $260 and it was all gone in a minute.
Paid mac $73 for the abercrombie shirts we ordered, which he helped me pay up front 2 days ago.

and the rest of the money, i use to pay for my new crumpler bag (excluding the deposit).


Still have one more pay cheque coming from the pc show. It should be around $400 and I intend to collect it on tuesday. $240 will be set aside for the malaysia trip and the remaning $160 I will use it to buy an onisuka tiger.
This means my internet and hp bill of $100 will have to wait till my pay day which is 12th next month. Hope they dun do anything funny to my line.

oh yah I've started my starhub job cust care consultant job already. basically i pick up calls when ppl call 1633.
yesterday i picked up 82 calls by myself. Quite proud of myself. Feels good to help the people to call in, however it can be quite sucky and u get scolded for nothing.

Time passes quite fast for this job. Before i know it, it's lunch, a short while later it's time to go home. This means I've been skipping meals lately, and the things i've been eating for lunch are rubbish like long john, macdonalds, etc. Over this 2 weeks that I've been working (including the factory job) I lost around 2kg. :/
For this, I've decided to drink milk like water while I am at the job. I bought 2 cartons of HL milk and put them into the pantry's fridge. Lucky the pantry is very nearby, so I can milk-parade myself at the pantry every now and then.

That's all for today. Hope I don't get any sucky calls tomorrow.

Worst job

out of so many good lobangs that i found, this is the worst.
Introed by mac, the agency told him that the job is at suntec and involves folding of lucky draw tickets and putting it into an envelope. $6/hr. 3 days only and at suntec so I thought it would be a simple job in a good environment. when mac introed it to me, I accepted it quite promptly. The agency then called me for my particulars and say will sms the address of the workplace to me. The workplace turns out to be a factory at sims drive. WTF man
Armour ah beng and kalong joined us at the work on the 2nd day after 2 malayus were retrenched for being too slow in their work.

Firstly the workplace is damn fucking ulu. 2 hrs wasted on travelling and 2km walked everyday.

secondly, the work is damn monotonous. The whole day u are slotting 3 pieces of registration form and a leaflet into the magazine.

thirdly, the workplace is bureacratic to the MAX. ur work desk is right in front of the warrant(supervisor)'s desk, u can't sit down and u can't even take a break for a while.
Once I went to the toilet to wash my face, less than 10 mins later, the sergeant major called me and asked me where am I and said no slacking is allowed. WTF.
Armour ah beng wanted to sit down and asked the supervisor if he can take the unused chair beside her table. The warrant said we can't sit down when working as we have not met her standard.
On the second day, the warrant asked mac and I to shift our work upstairs so that we could help a group of girls who are doing the same job. Because they were young girls, they need us to help carry some stuffs occasionally. No problem with that, but before I go up, the supervisor wanted told me not to slack upstairs and not to chit chat on my HP. then she EVEN WANTED TO CONFISCATE MY PHONE. WTF MAN. Treating me like a secondary sch student. Cannot accept this. Worst still, the company has cameras installed everywhere to monitor the workers.

Fourthly the Sergeant and the warrant behave like as if their job is well sought after and we are very lucky to get the job. Keep saying they used to hire part time at $5/hr, now it's $6/hr. Come on it's only $6 and hour and we have to work non stop all the way. It's not we cannot handle the job but we can easily get an easier job with a higher pay elsewhere. Not to mention they keep calling us xiao didi. WTF.

After armour ah beng got pissed off by not being able to get the chair, he decided to quit (on his first day). So we all quited together on that day. Such a nice guy also can get pissed off working there. LOL.

Earned around $100 in 2 days. This money is really hard earned.

742SIR

Out of boredom I went into the NS portal www.ns.sg
For months the "my unit" link was under construction, so I thought no unit was assigned to me. Yesterday, 742SIR showed up.
I quickly msg bandicoot, casper and ong,asking them to check also. They are all in 742 SIR also. The whole of 2SIR except the 2nd year commanders are in 742 SIR. I think the 2nd year commanders are in the midef reserve -_-
According to my brother, 700+ and 800+ units are new units, and the reservist is quite shiong. I cannot imagine myself running around in the jungle when I am 30+.

But on the brighter side I will be doing my reservist with people I already know.

I kind of miss the days in the army. Not the days when we handed over and lobo, but the fun days when we went through everything together.

PC SHOW part 2: My job; Story of 3 bitches

What is my job at the pc show?
sit outside the hall, at the escalator, and take down the model of the printers ppl buy. Quite a lowly job. but the pay is $10/hr. SHIOK

On the first day, the 3 bitches were late for work. Suppose to report at 11.30, but they reached only at 12.
I was assigned to take down the models at the lift.
During my 45 mins break with ghim hong, Bitch A took over my position at the lift.
We walked to burger king and had our dinner there. Suntec was so fucking crowded and we spent 20 mins making my way there, 20 mins eating, and another 20 mins making my way back. Around 50 mins after I left, she called my hp asking me whether I am coming back already. She complained to the supervisor and 1 min later, the supervisor called ghim hong and ask if we were coming back soon. WTF
When I reached the lift lobby, I wanted to apologise, but she stormed off.

The next day I was asked to take over bitch C while she go for her break.
around 40 mins into her break, Bitch A called me and say that she asked bitch C to da bao some food for her, so she will be coming back abit later. She came back only 40 mins later. That amounts to a 1hr and 20 minutes break in total.
If bitch C needed more time y can't she call me directly. Quite obvious bitch A had something in mind. Maybe revenge?

Nothing much happened on the 3rd day. But the bitch A and C have the audacity to ask their bfs to come and accompany them. Come on, u are working not on a date.

Is it because of vesak day, or is it trying to do some last minute purchases before the GST increase?
The price of most of the stuffs are the same as sim lim square. And if u haven't notice, most of the distributors are sim lim shops. :/

Having said that, I bought a samsung LCD monitor from the show. 19 inch wide screen. quite shiok when playing winning 11!
