Yesterday sok feng msged me on msn. sorry for being annoying! haha! then i msged shin hwee too. Feels quite good to catch up with the times. can't believe with a blink of an eye, she's graduating from poly already. :( does this mean i've done nothing over the past few years? sadly YES.

I hate to believe that my career will be determined by a piece of paper. I didn't want to believe phrases like 'study for ur future'. Nothing pisses me off more than phrases like that. I always thought that this was very shallow and that working abilities matter much more than academic abilities.
But sadly, a good education background can give one a significant headstart in working life... And I recognise and need that.
The best birthday present I can give myself is to start working on the old tutorials that I chunked aside and catch up with the lecture pace. Seems like tough dirty work, but it would be even tougher preparing for the exams if i dun do the dirty job now. I really dread doing last minute exam studies till late at night. This time NO MORE.
